To start my new blog entry:

Didn't have the summary of how my 2015 went coz there were things I 'd rather forget. But to name a few of the highlights:
Feb - first JS Prom (as a teacher)
March - first Graduation rites
May - Meg was born
June - formed our child care team (Dad, Cheche and me)
July - 12th anniversary
Aug- found a new habitat
Oct - UN celebration/AP month
Dec - first Christmas with baby Meg. said goodbye to Tiger.
To sum it up, God is good!!!
And now, it's our day 1 of 2016.

New Year’s Goal:
1.       To save a minimum of 50 thousand pesos and a maximum of 100,000 pesos. Iba pa ang savings for Meg’s first birthday slash baptismal.
2.       Start losing weight by the time Meg turns one.
3.       Have more positive comments from students and to gain more loyal students online.
4.       Minimize expenses.
5.       Have a work-life- spiritual life balance.
6.       Blog more often and if possible, make this blog as my personal diary.
7.       Try not to be so sensitive with what others say.
8.       Family should always be my priority. As in wala na akong paki kung magagalit ang mga co-workers ko kung hindi ako makakasali sa ibang school activities because I have to prioritize my family.

How my First Day of 2016 Went
I woke up at 7:00. I fed Baby Meg while hubby prepared our breakfast (two cups of coffee, biko and pancit bihon- all from last night’s Media Noche). Did some household chores because of helper, Cheche took her New Year’s off. Served lunch around 11:30 AM (again, from last night’s Media Noche). Fed baby again and decided to visit my parents. However, since it was raining, I decided to wait until the rain stops. The three of us took a nap while enduring the loud music coming from one of the neighbours.
At past 2 PM, Baby Meg and I prepared to go out. We had a ten-minute walk from home to Market! Market! Took a jeepney and tricycle ride. Met her grandparents and my siblings minus Jazzy.
At around 6 PM, I decided to go home. We dropped by Auntie Vilma’s store to see my cousin Elvina. Took a jeepney ride going to Market! Market! I had a free ride because the driver did not give me a change but returned my twenty peso bill.
At home, I fed Baby Meg her dinner (Cerelac) while she was playing with Butch the Kitten. Read her the first story in her 365 Days Story Book.
It was an ordinary day well-spent with my family.

January 2, 2016
The usual routine. Cheche, my daughter's yaya, arrived at around seven AM, a little earlier than usual. She arrived while I was feeding Baby Meg. She was the one who continued feeding our little girl while hubby and I had our breakfast. I had a class via Skype from 11:00 AM- 12 noon. Cheche told me that she would be bringing Baby Meg to their house with her husband, so the two of us were left alone. We had our lunch then I resumed teaching until 4:30 PM. As soon as I finished working, Cheche arrived with Baby Meg. We had our snacks and she left us at around 5:30.
After dinner, I read the second story for baby Meg.

January 3, 2016
It was one of my friend's birthday.
Last night, I told my husband what I have read from one of my favorite blogs. According to the blog entry, one of the roles of a father is to guide his children spiritually. If a father doesn't go to church, expect that the kids will also not go to church. Hence, we planned to wake up very early to bring Baby Meg to church.
I woke up at 5:30, cleaned the comfort room, the kitchen and the small living room for ten minutes. Then I prepared breakfast and Meg's cereal. Kaya lang homily na lang ang naabutan namin sa church. We stayed until the end of the mass. Then, we visited our former landlady who lives just a few stones away from the church.
Wala si Nanay (our ex-landlady) but we were entertained by her son and his family. Kuya Glenn and my hubby talked about PS3, PS4, Wii, anime and console games while ate Rose and I played with Anika (their 6 year old daughter) and Meg. We were so happy to hear Anika exclaimed "Yehey! May kapatid na ako!" because she is an only child. After a while, Nanay arrived and I asked her for some oregano leaves. Ang tagal na kasi ng ubo ng mag-ama ko and I am sooo worried! She sold her oregano plant at 20 pesos. Okay na kesa naman matuyo o maubos ang mga dahon then ask ako ulit sa kanya.

In the afternoon, I decided to tour Baby Meg around our place with her stroller . I have two reasons: first, hindi niya kasundo ang stroller nya. She's crying whenever I put her on her stroller. And second, pasukan na kasi bukas. Mamimiss ko ang mga times na halos nakadikit sya sa akin.

At night, she was too clingy! Alam niya yata na papasok na ako. I cuddled her until she fell asleep again.
